Messi has always been deadly against English sides throughout his career, with the maestro now scoring 24 goals against top Premier League opposition so far. This number is made all the more amazing by the fact that he sits fourth on the list with most goals scored against the top six sides, despite not playing in the Premier League.
The list is headed by Sergio Aguero with 43 goals to his name against the top six of the PL and that is acceptable as he is one of the best strikers in the world and has been in England for eight years now.
Jamie Vardy with 29 goals and Eden Hazard with 26 goals come second and third respectively, followed by Messi, with Tottenham Hotspur striker, Harry Kane rounding up the top-five. There is no limiting the genius that is Messi and at 31, he is surely going to move higher up the list in the future.
