Catalan giants FC Barcelona are reportedly being very patient with their Brazilian superstar Philippe Coutinho, who has still not been able to adjust to life and conditions in Spain, both on and off the pitch.
In the wake of another injury to Ousmane Dembele, Coutinho is all set to get multiple opportunities to find himself at Barcelona. It is being reported that everyone at the club is ready to help the Brazilian get back to his best until the end of this season.
Marca report that the Nou Camp hierarchy is ready to help the Brazilian achieve the best version of himself within the next month, after which he will have to win his place in the starting line-up again or the club will decide to sell him in the summer.
Coutinho recently spoke in an interview regarding his state of mind and said, “In recent weeks or months, I haven’t played well but I still want to do better and I have come to Barcelona to give my best.”
The Brazilian star will start getting his opportunities starting this weekend when Barcelona take on Real Betis on Sunday. Dembele’s latest injury will keep him out of action for the next three or four weeks, which could prove to be ample time for Coutinho to show his class and earn his place in the Barca team.
The club’s decision makers, meanwhile, are said to be totally focusing their attention on Coutinho’s performance and condition in the upcoming weeks before taking the call to sell him in the summer with Manchester United waiting to pounce on the opportunity to sign the former Liverpool man.
