Chelsea travel to Ukraine to play Dynamo Kiev in the second leg of the Europa League round of 16. They already have a comfortable 3-0 lead from the first leg, but will be looking to avoid an upset and safely negotiate their way to the quarter-finals.

Here are three things to look out for in the Dynamo Kiev vs Chelsea game.

3. Easy passage

Despite the trials and tribulations over the last few weeks, Chelsea seem to be keeping their season together, even if it is by a very slim margin. The second leg against Kiev is one game they will probably not have to worry too much, considering they have a three goal lead and will need to avoid conceding as many, even if they don’t score.

2. Tough ask for Kiev

Meanwhile, Kiev have themselves to blame for their predicament, having hardly put up a fight in the first leg at Stamford Bridge. The odds are stacked against them for the tie, but they have history on their side. They did win twice before when they lost away from home, once against Guingamp and the other against Everton. It remains to be seen if they can do the same again.

1. English teams in Europe

With four teams in the quarter-finals of the Champions League, Chelsea would want to continue the trend and become the first English team in this season’s Europa League quarter-finals. With Arsenal in dire straits, they may well be the only remaining English team in the Europa League by the end of the night.
