FC Barcelona booked their spot in the last-8 of the UEFA Champions League with a thumping 5-1 win over French outfit Lyon on Wednesday night.

The Barca players are said to have been excited by the prospect of who they could face in the quarter-final of the coveted tournament. Thus, they have also gone on and decided who they would prefer to face and who they want to avoid.

Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur, Juventus, Ajax and Porto are the other seven teams left in the tournament and AS report that Barcelona’s squad reached a consensus that they would want to avoid Manchester City and Juventus at all costs.

Former Barcelona manager Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City are touted as one of the favourites to lift the Champions League crown this season, while Juventus will be pumped up from their incredible comeback win against Atletico Madrid.

The Barca players believe that getting Porto or Manchester United would be an attractive prospect from them whereas Ajax, Liverpool and Tottenham are viewed as difficult ties, but not at the same level as Manchester City or Juventus.
